Softball Recap: Berlin Redcoats vs. Simsbury Trojans

Berlin can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They blew past the Simsbury Trojans 12-1. The win was nothing new for Berlin as they're now sitting on four straight.

Madeline Mota spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than six innings in 13 consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, Jessica Petit was incredible, going 4-for-4 with a home run, four runs, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Julia Matan, who went 3-for-3 with three RBI, a triple, and a run.
