Volleyball Recap: Medway Takes a Loss

Medway lost against Holliston back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Mustangs came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Medway ultimately came up short, they really made Holliston work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 26-24, 25-13.

Despite the loss, Medway still got an impressive performance from Charlotte George, who had 14 digs. George is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Medway's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Holliston, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Medway is set to square off against their familiar foe Westwood at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Holliston will take on rival Millis at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
