Southeastern's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Renaissance Phoenix as they made off with a 32-8 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Jungaleers needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

The victory got Southeastern back to even at 2-2. As for Renaissance, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Southeastern will take on rival East English Village Prep on Friday. Meanwhile, Renaissance is set to challenge their familiar foe Ford at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
