Soccer Game Preview: Bellows Free Academy vs. Milton

The Bellows Free Academy Bobwhites/Comets will challenge the Milton Yellowjackets at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Bellows Free Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Vermont's top teams: South Burlington, who was ranked 22nd at the time (Bellows Free Academy was ranked 17th). The Bobwhites/Comets fell just short of Wolves by a score of 1-0 on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for Bellows Free Academy in their meetings with South Burlington: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Milton was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Rice Memorial could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Bellows Free Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. Milton's draw gives them a new season record of 4-7-1.
