Volleyball Recap: Pioneer Takes a Loss

Pioneer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Oxford Academy Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-15, 25-17.

Pioneer's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Oxford Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Pioneer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. After both having extra time off, Oxford Academy and Tarbut V' Torah will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on the 30th. The Lions will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight.
