Soccer Recap: Cristo Rey Research Triangle Comes Up Short on the Road Against Northern Durham

Cristo Rey Research Triangle had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 9-0 to the Northern Durham Knights. Cristo Rey Research Triangle were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Northern Durham apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Northern Durham's victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Cristo Rey Research Triangle will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Excelsior Classical Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Excelsior Classical Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Cristo Rey Research Triangle surely won't give up without a fight. As for Northern Durham, they will take on Orange at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
