It's playoff time, and Lake Belton had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Red Oak Hawks on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Broncos.

Lake Belton's win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-5-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Red Oak, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-16.

Looking ahead, Lake Belton will challenge North Mesquite on Thursday. The Stallions will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Broncos surely won't give up without a fight. Red Oak does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
