Volleyball Recap: Glendale Cardinals vs. Sierra Linda Bulldogs
Glendale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 27th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Sierra Linda Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.
Glendale's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Sierra Linda, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.
Glendale will head out on the road to square off against Independence at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Independence is coming into the matchup with four straight wins at home, so Glendale will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Sierra Linda, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against North on the 21st.
