Basketball Recap: Webster Gets the Win

Webster saw some tournament action on Thursday. They managed a 55-51 win over the Miami Wardogs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Several Wardogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lane Walther, who went 6 for 11 on his way to 20 points. Waike Roblyer was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 12 boards.

Webster now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Miami, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Webster will take on Sperry in a holiday battle at 7:15 p.m. on December 20th at. As for Miami, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Dove Science Academy at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. Miami is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.5 points per game this season.
