Basketball Recap: Mount Si Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

If Skyline wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Mount Si, they should've done a better job of containing Brady Hennig. The Mount Si Wildcats breezed by the Skyline Spartans to the tune of 66-38 on Monday thanks in part to Hennig, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Mount Si's points.

Another player making a difference was Latt Ford, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards. He has been hot, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times he's played.

The win made it two in a row for Mount Si and bumps their season record up to 11-5. As for Skyline, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-16.

Mount Si wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 71-67 victory against Liberty on the 28th. As for Skyline, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-48 loss against Renton on the 31st.
