Sadly, Ty Wilson posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead De Anza over Albany on Thursday. Wilson was dynamite, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.
Even though Wilson couldn't lead De Anza over Albany, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Wilson has dominated as far as hits are concerned (he's averaged 1.1 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering Albany has only allowed 5.71 per game this season.
