Volleyball Game Preview: Robinson Rams vs. West Potomac Wolverines

The Robinson Rams will head out to take on the West Potomac Wolverines at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Robinson has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 9th.

On Thursday, Robinson didn't have quite enough to beat Woodson and fell 3-2. While the Rams didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cavaliers 25-15 in the first set.

Robinson started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 26-28, 25-18, 25-19, 17-15.

Meanwhile, West Potomac came up short against West Springfield on Saturday and fell 2-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Wolverines in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost five in a row.

Robinson's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for West Potomac, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Robinson skirted past West Potomac 3-2 in their previous meeting back in August. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
