Basketball Recap: Springfield Comes Up Short

Springfield was the 47-40 winner over Woodridge when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Springfield Spartans took a 59-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woodridge Bulldogs on Thursday. The Spartans' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Springfield's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Woodridge, their victory bumped their record up to 6-16.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Springfield will square off against Field at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up.
