Football Recap: St. Thomas Aquinas Takes a Loss

St. Thomas Aquinas was the 36-18 winner over Sayreville when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell 33-26 to the Bombers on Friday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Thomas Aquinas' defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-4. As for Sayreville, their record is now 8-1.

Looking ahead, St. Thomas Aquinas will square off against Pope John XXIII at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Sayreville, they will face off against Trenton Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tornadoes will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Bombers surely won't give up without a fight.
