Valley Lutheran hadn't done well against Glenn recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Chargers narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Bobcats 3-2. The victory was nothing new for the Chargers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Valley Lutheran pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Glenn, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.

Valley Lutheran will challenge Michigan Lutheran Seminary at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Glenn has already played their next contest (against Alpena), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
