Volleyball Recap: Vanlue Comes Up Short

Vanlue was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the North Baltimore Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wildcats have suffered against the Tigers since September 22, 2021.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-22, 25-22.

Vanlue's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for North Baltimore, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Vanlue will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cardinal Stritch at 6:00 p.m. on September 2. North Baltimore has already played their next game (against Northwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
