Edison Academy came tearing into Wednesday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Royal Oak Ravens with a sharp 12-3 victory. The Pioneers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by six runs or more this season.

Edison Academy's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-7. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Royal Oak, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 16-8 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edison Academy will take on Lincoln at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Royal Oak, they will challenge University of Detroit Jesuit at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
