Monsignor Scanlan scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They blew past Martin County, posting a 89-49 victory on the road. That 89-49 margin sets a new team best for Monsignor Scanlan this season.
Meanwhile, Rome Free Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Bishop Ludden on Friday, taking the game 71-64.
Rome Free Academy relied on the efforts of Uzziah Grimes, who scored 23 points along with seven rebounds, and Surafia Norries, who scored 25 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. The matchup was Norries' fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Campos, who scored five points.
Monsignor Scanlan now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Rome Free Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
