Softball Recap: Valley View Triumphs

Valley View won the last time they faced Grulla and things went their way on Monday too. The Valley View Tigers came out on top against the Grulla Gators by a score of 8-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Valley View saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sofia Fernandez, who went 2-for-4 with one double.

Valley View now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Grulla, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Valley View Tigers duke it out with Harlingen Cardinals at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Grulla, they will host Hidalgo at 7:00 p.m. on March 18th.
