Softball Recap: Santa Rosa Comes Up Short

Santa Rosa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 21-1 to the Healdsburg Greyhounds. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 15-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Santa Rosa's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Healdsburg, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Santa Rosa is set to take on their familiar foe St. Vincent de Paul at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Healdsburg will square off against rival Ukiah at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
