Carlin Hollis - Homeschool leads a balanced attack to beat Chestertown Christian Academy

Recap: Concord Christian Academy Minutemen vs. Chestertown Christian Academy Patriots

The Concord Christian Academy Minutemen won the last time they faced the Chestertown Christian Academy Patriots, and things went their way on Monday too. Concord Christian Academy snuck past Chestertown Christian Academy with a 38-34 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Concord Christian Academy.

Concord Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Carlin Hollis - Homeschool, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Hollis - Homeschool is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriel Franco, who scored ten points.

Despite the loss, Chestertown Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: John Stoltzfus dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Nathan Frain, who scored seven points.

Concord Christian Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Chestertown Christian Academy, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Concord Christian Academy will take on Greenwood Mennonite at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Greenwood Mennonite focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Saturday. As for Chestertown Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Calvary Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m.
