Basketball Recap: South-Doyle Comes Up Short

After flying high against Signal Mountain last Friday, South-Doyle came back down to earth. The South-Doyle Cherokees took a 70-55 bruising from the Heritage Mountaineers on Monday. The Cherokees have struggled against the Mountaineers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meetings.

South-Doyle's defeat dropped their record down to 13-16. As for Heritage, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-2 record this season.

As of now, neither South-Doyle nor Heritage have any future games scheduled.
