Baseball Recap: Firestone Takes a Loss

Firestone lost against Roosevelt back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Falcons fell 6-2 to the Rough Riders. The Falcons just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Firestone saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brennen Hostler, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Firestone's record now sits at 5-4. As for Roosevelt, they moved to 5-6 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Firestone will venture away from home to square off against McKinley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Roosevelt, they will head out to challenge Stow-Munroe Falls at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
