 Veterans Memorial can now show off 14 landslide victories after their most recent  matchup  on Friday. They never let the Pieper Warriors onto the board and left with  a   9-0  win. That's two games straight that Veterans Memorial has won by  exactly nine  runs.
  Shalei Morn made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run over 4.1 innings pitched. Morn was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last six games she's  played.
 In other pitching news,  Adelina Vallejo looked comfortable as she  tossed 2.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (she also didn't allow any  walks).
 Back at the plate,  Cihara Wessling and  Ava Martinez did most of the damage at the plate:  Wessling  scored a  run while going 2-for-3, while  Martinez  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.  Alaina Peper was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Veterans Memorial is  on a roll lately: they've  won 15 of their last 18 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record  this season. As for Pieper, they dropped their record down to 7-23-1 with that  defeat, which was their fourth straight  on the road.
 Veterans Memorial will  square off against Smithson Valley at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Smithson Valley will roll in looking for their  tenth straight  victory, something Veterans Memorial surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pieper, they will look to defend their home field  on Tuesday against Canyon at 7:00  p.m.
