Softball Recap: San Miguel Takes a Loss

San Miguel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Willcox Cowboys, falling 27-4. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vipers of the 13-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2015.

San Miguel's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Willcox, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Coming up, San Miguel is taking a road trip to face off against Benson at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Willcox, they will be playing at home against Pima at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Willcox will need to watch out since Pima has now posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
