Soccer Recap: John Paul II Comes Up Short

John Paul II was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 7-2 to the San Marcos Academy Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in January.

John Paul II's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for San Marcos Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. The Centurions will square off against the Guardians at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for San Marcos Academy, they will venture away from home to square off against Atonement Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
