Basketball Game Preview: Abbeville Panthers vs. Calhoun Falls Charter Blue Flashes

The Abbeville Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Calhoun Falls Charter Blue Flashes at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Abbeville's defense has only allowed 28 points per game this season, so Calhoun Falls Charter's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Meanwhile, Calhoun Falls Charter came tearing into Wednesday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 64-11 victory over the Hornets. The Blue Flashes' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Calhoun Falls Charter's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.3 points per game. As for Abbeville, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
