Football Recap: St. James Wildcats vs. Terrebonne Tigers
If St. James was feeling good fresh off their 20-0 takedown of East St. John two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The St. James Wildcats fell just short of the Terrebonne Tigers by a score of 24-21 on Friday.
Despite the defeat, St. James saw an underclassman step up: Jajuan Jackson rushed for 36 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 197 yards on 18 of 33 attempts. A healthy portion of that aerial production (115 yards to be exact) went to Jakias Villanueva.
St. James' loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Terrebonne, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
