Basketball Recap: James Mueller and Micah Marbra Secure Win for Tabb

Tabb had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They strolled past the Poquoson Islanders with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 69-53. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Leading Tabb to victory were Micah Marbra and James Mueller. Marbra posted 27 points and eight rebounds, while Mueller scored 23 points and seven boards. The match was Mueller's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jake Siegel, who dropped a double-double on 11 rebounds and ten assists.

Tabb was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Tabb's victory bumped their record up to 3-12. As for Poquoson, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.

Tabb didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-46 defeat against Bruton on the 5th. Poquoson has also already played their next contest, a 57-42 loss against Smithfield on the 5th.
