Lake Brantley extended their winning streak to seven on Friday, bumping them up to 8-1. They blew past the Lyman Greyhounds 65-34. That 31 point margin sets a new team best for the Patriots this season.

Julian Vargas continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, as he made all 9 shots he took racking up 23 points and six rebounds. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Knight, who posted eight points.

Lake Brantley was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

As for Lyman, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Lyman still got an impressive performance from Alex Robinson, who earned seven points. Robinson is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Lake Brantley will take on Seminole in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Patriots are facing the Seminoles at the right time seeing as the Seminoles are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lyman, they have already played their next game, a 53-46 loss against Seabreeze on the 13th.
