Game recap: Eudora High School Football Team beats DeSoto

EUDORA, Kan. - Eudora (Kan.) and DeSoto (Kan.) both received superb games from their defenses, but Eudora was able to break through the stalemate for a 13-0 win.

The Cardinals scored on two rushing touchdowns to secure the victory.

Eudora was up 7-0 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown run by Andrew Ballock in the second quarter.

EHS's most effective player was Ballock. The junior quarterback ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored 14 touchdowns on the season.

The Cardinals came into the game allowing 9.2 points per game. The zero points that the Wildcats ended with were well below their average of 16.6 coming into the game.



A 8-0 Eudora victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.

The loss comes after DeSoto defeated St. James Academy 42-28 last week. With the win EHS extended its winning streak to four games.
