Basketball Recap: Tanner Finds Home Court Redemption Against Lindsay Lane Christian Academy

There's no place like home for Tanner, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against the Lindsay Lane Christian Academy Lions by a score of 68-56 on Tuesday. The Rattlers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

Tanner had a senior duo take command as Matthew Fletcher almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine rebounds and Rick Seights Jr shot 40% from the field on his way to 19 points in addition to seven boards and five assists. Seights Jr is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Kaden Freeman was another key player, putting up seven points.

Tanner was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They are 6-3 when they've passed the ball that well.

The win got Tanner back to even at 6-6. As for Lindsay Lane Christian Academy, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-6-1.

Coming up, Tanner will head out to square off against Elkmont at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lindsay Lane Christian Academy, they will be home for the holidays to greet Clements at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
