Volleyball Preview: Ridgeline Falcons vs. Davis Pirates
Ridgeline has been away from home for three games now, but on Saturday they'll finally make their return. They will welcome the Davis Pirates at 3:00 p.m. Ridgeline will be strutting in after a win while Davis will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Thursday, everything went Ridgeline's way against University as Ridgeline made off with a 3-0 victory.
Ridgeline was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-20, 25-18.
Ridgeline relied on the efforts of Jade Livingston, who had 15 digs, and Kyla Ross, who had four digs and 19 assists. Ross is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in the last six games she's played dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Davis lost 3-0 to Eisenhower on Thursday.
Ridgeline is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season. As for Davis, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.
