Soccer Recap: Ardmore Comes Up Short

Ardmore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Westminster Christian Academy Wildcats, falling 5-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Ardmore of the 9-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2015.

Ardmore's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Westminster Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ardmore will face off against Danville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ardmore are facing Danville at the right time seeing as Danville are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Westminster Christian Academy, they will challenge East Limestone at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
