Baseball Recap: Haughton Comes Up Short

Haughton lost to Calvary Baptist Academy on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Buccaneers fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 5-3. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Haughton's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Calvary Baptist Academy, they pushed their record up to 29-1 with the win, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Haughton and Calvary Baptist Academy should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings. The Buccaneers will face off against Parkway at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (36 vs. 170). Meanwhile, Calvary Baptist Academy (ranked fourth) will meet North Caddo (ranked 251st) at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
