Basketball Recap: Cocoa Takes a Loss

Cocoa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 39-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Mary Rams. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Cocoa's record now sits at 9-6. As for Lake Mary, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.

Cocoa and Lake Mary should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. Cocoa (ranked 94th) will meet Vero Beach (ranked 307th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Lake Mary will challenge Oviedo at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday up 376 places (78 vs. 454).
