Football Recap: Waukegan Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Waukegan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Lake Forest Scouts, falling 28-8. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Scouts from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Waukegan's record is now 0-7. As for Lake Forest, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Waukegan will head out to challenge Mundelein at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.43 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Lake Forest, they will venture away from home to take on Libertyville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Scouts surely won't give up without a fight.
