Soccer Game Preview: Intrinsic vs. Wells

The Intrinsic Mustangs will venture away from home to challenge the Wells Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wells took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Intrinsic, who comes in off a win.

While Intrinsic's win against Phoenix Military wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mustangs beat the Firebirds by a goal, winning 4-3. The score was all tied up 2-2 at the break, but Intrinsic were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Wells lost 5-2 to Disney II on Tuesday. Wells haven't had much luck with Disney II recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Wells' defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Intrinsic, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7-2.

Everything went Intrinsic's way against Wells in their previous meeting back in September of 2018, as Intrinsic made off with an 8-1 win. In that match, the Mustangs amassed a halftime lead of 8-1, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
