Football Recap: Prairie View Academy's Undefeated Season over After Eight Games + How To Watch

After flying high against Ben's Ford Christian last Friday, Prairie View Academy came back down to earth. The Spartans came up short against the River Oaks Mustangs on Friday, falling 46-26. The contest marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Despite the loss, Prairie View Academy still got an impressive performance from Hayden Little, who rushed for 74 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also threw for 98 yards and two TDs.

River Oaks was led to victory by Andrew Robinson and Byron Price. Robinson rushed for 84 yards and a pair of scores, while Price rushed for 113 yards and two TDs.

Having lost for the first time this season, Prairie View Academy fell to 7-1. As for River Oaks, their record now sits at 6-0.

Coincidentally, Prairie View Academy and River Oaks will both be playing Claiborne Academy the next time they take the field. The Spartans will host the Rebels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Mustangs will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
