After a string of five wins, Patton's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost 13-1 to the R-S Central Hilltoppers. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 11-3 to the Hilltoppers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cole Attaway was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run.

Patton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for R-S Central, their record is now 8-4.

Coming up, R-S Central will head out to challenge Chesnee at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Patton will be paying especially close attention to the Hilltoppers' match: after the Hilltoppers faces off against the Eagles, they'll take on Patton again at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
