Volleyball Recap: Brooks Comes Up Short

Brooks lost against Hancock back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Brooks fell 2-0 to Hancock. The match marked the first time this year in which Brooks was not able to get on the board.

Brooks may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 17 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-17.

Brooks is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3. As for Hancock, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Brooks will square off against rival Victoria Soto at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hancock is set to take on their familiar foe Curie at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
