Baseball Recap: Diamond Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Diamond challenged New Heights Christian Academy on Monday. The Wildcats fell 6-1 to the Cougars. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 5-4.

Diamond saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddox Youngblood, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that Youngblood has hit this season.

Diamond dropped their record down to 11-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for New Heights Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.

As of now, neither Diamond nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
