Soccer Recap: Williamsburg Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three games, Williamsburg finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They lost 4-0 to the Marion Wolves. Williamsburg haven't had much luck with Marion recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Williamsburg now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Marion, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2-1.

Coming up, Williamsburg will challenge Center Point-Urbana at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Williamsburg will need to watch out since Center Point-Urbana have now posted at least four goals in their last five contests. As for Marion, they will face off against Benton at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Marion will be up against Benton's rather soft defense (which has allowed four goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
