Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Duquoin

DuQuoin extended their postseason success on Saturday against Nashville. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Hornets 5-4. The win was nothing new for the Indians as they're now sitting on three straight.

DuQuoin's victory was truly a team effort as eight different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Dedrick Melvin, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI. That's the most runs Melvin has posted since back in April. Another was Jaden DeMarie, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

DuQuoin's win bumped their record up to 20-14. As for Nashville, the loss snapped their winning streak at ten games and leaves them with a 29-2 record.

As of now, neither DuQuoin nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
