 Cheatham County Central waltzed into their contest  on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They put the hurt on the Harpeth Indians with a sharp  15-4 victory. Cheatham County Central might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won eight games by six  runs or more this season.
  Haylee Dowlen spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on six hits and racked up seven Ks. Those seven  strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
 At the plate, Cheatham County Central let  Macie Harter and  Georgia Hunter loose on the outfield. Harter  fired off two  home runs, five  RBI,  and a  stolen base while going 3-for-4, while  Hunter  fired off two  home runs, three  runs,  and four  RBI while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cannon Johnson, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 On Harpeth's side,  Molly Lane was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 1-for-2 with a  triple, a  run,  and  an  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Lilly Stinson, who  went 1-for-3 with two  RBI and a  double.
 Cheatham County Central has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won ten of their last 11 matchups,  which provided a massive bump to their 12-5 record  this season. As for Harpeth, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11-1.
