Softball Recap: Leopold Wildcats vs. Bloomfield Wildcats

If Leopold was feeling good fresh off their 25-3 takedown of Meadow Heights last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Leopold fell just short of Bloomfield by a score of 5-4 on Thursday. Leopold was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bloomfield apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Piper Lincoln was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Lincoln was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
