Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Torrington Christian Academy

Torrington Christian Academy won against American School for the Deaf back in December of 2024 with 47 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. Torrington Christian Academy strolled past the American School for the Deaf Tigers with points to spare, taking the game 47-31. Torrington Christian Academy pushed the score to 41-20 by the end of the third, a deficit American School for the Deaf cut but never quite recovered from.

Despite the loss, American School for the Deaf still got an impressive performance from Basil Blackford, who went 14 of 29 on his way to 29 points.

The win was the third in a row for Torrington Christian Academy, bringing their record for this year to 3-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for American School for the Deaf, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-6.
