Football Game Preview: White County Warriors vs. Chestatee War Eagles + How To Watch

The White County Warriors will head out to take on the Chestatee War Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. White County has given up an average of 35.6 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

White County is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Greater Atlanta Christian on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Warriors lost 40-14 to the Spartans. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 322nd, while the Spartans are ranked 134th).

Although White County took the loss, they still got scores from Zach Godfrey and Easton Drew.

Meanwhile, Chestatee took a blow against Dawson County on Friday, falling 42-14. The War Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

White County will have to keep a close watch on Blake Conner and Colton Steele, a pair of players who had a big impact on Chestatee's prior game. Conner gained 141 total yards, while Steele rushed for 20 yards and one score.

White County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Chestatee, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

White County couldn't quite finish off Chestatee in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 and fell 23-21. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the War Eagles' Benjamin Plemons, who rushed for 218 yards and one TD while picking up 8.4 yards per carry.
