Basketball Recap: Albemarle Takes a Loss

Albemarle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 57-46 to the Western Albemarle Warriors. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-29 back in December of 2024.

Albemarle's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Western Albemarle, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Albemarle will be playing at home against Louisa County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Western Albemarle, they will take on Fluvanna County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
