Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Bothell/Inglemoor's Fifth in Last Six Outings

Woodinville typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Bothell/Inglemoor proved too difficult a challenge. They snuck past the Woodinville Falcons with a 51-47 victory. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Falcons last Tuesday, they had to take a 58-51 defeat.

Woodinville lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jazlyn Wilkerson, who went 7-for-14 en route to 20 points in addition to six boards and five steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Hailey Quiggle was another key player, putting up nine points and eight rebounds.

Bothell/Inglemoor is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Woodinville, the loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 20-2.

Looking ahead, Bothell/Inglemoor will square off against Lake Washington at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Lake Washington knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Bothell/Inglemoor likes a good challenge. As for Woodinville, they have already played their next game, a 51-47 defeat against Bothell on the 11th.
